Saroj Khan was one of the best choreographers Bollywood has witnessed to date. Fondly known as Masterji, Saroj Khan was among the most successful and well-known choreographers. As we all woke to the sad news of her demise, many Bollywood celebrities took to their respective social media accounts to express grief. From Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Madhuri Dixit to Amitabh Bachchan everyone mourned her death. Now, it is the director of Mr India, Shekhar Kapur, who has remembered the choreographer and how she was on the sets.

Saroj Khan was the one who made Sridevi and Anil Kapoor dance the way they did in Mr India songs. From Hawa Hawaii to Kate Nahi Kat Te, Saroj Khan choreographed all these iconic songs featuring Sridevi and Anil Kapoor. Remembering the good old days, Shekhar Kapur penned, "She defined a generation of heroines. Certainly #MrIndia would not have been same film without #SarojKhan. You had to see her dance as she rehearsed with SriDevi. She was messmerizing. And what energy!  You could shoot all night, yet she smiled and danced  constantly fresh."

Saroj Khan's demise has created a void that can never be filled. She was truly a legend and Bollywood will definitely miss her. Check out Shekhar Kapur's tweet here:
